February 18, 2021, the first day of the workshop, began with a presentation of the delegations and participants present, followed by the development of the substantive program planned for the next two days. The country reports produced by each partner during the research phase of the project were discussed and aspects related to this work were discussed. Expert Ángel Lozano presented the findings of the Research Phase of the Project based on the Comparative Report of the issued National Reports.

The second day started with a presentation by the project expert Ángel Lozano on “A just transition in the decarbonisation of the economy with the involvement of workers and trade unions”. The expert Dariusz Potyrala gave a presentation on the situation in the decarbonisation process in Poland. Some time was allocated for a brief discussion on employee participation systems. Expert Ángel Lozano gave a lecture on “Adapting the skills and competences of workers in the extractive sector to technological change: training and green jobs”. At the end there was time for discussion, Q&A sessions and a summary of the two days of workshops.
